The project in picture

Under this contract, SM Construction contributed to the construction of several structures, including new fuel storage tanks (80,000 L), buildings and support infrastructures. Pagui, another subsidiary of Groupe SM Tardif, performed all of the electrical works related to this naval facility. Given the geographic location, the construction period in Nanisivik extends only from June to September. The SM Construction team therefore had to work quickly and show ingenuity, given the short construction season and the difficulty shipping by sea and air.
