Replacement of the Fuel Station in the Pointe-aux-Trembles Service Yard
SM Construction’s Energy Department was commissioned to dismantle and modernize the above-ground fuel station located in the Pointe-aux-Trembles area. The project included:
- Removal of existing underground tanks, with safe management of contaminated soil and liquids in compliance with environmental standards.
- Supply and installation of a 35,000 L above-ground tank designed for gasoline and diesel.
- Factory prefabrication of stainless-steel piping to ensure precision and quality.
- Execution of civil works, including the installation of concrete slabs and protective bollards.
- Integration of on-site electrical and control systems to guarantee the performance and safety of the new station.
