Project Manager – Industrial Mechanical

Groupe SM Tardif, an innovative company operating in the construction industry for over 45 years, is looking for a Project Manager for its subsidiary, SM Construction Inc., a general contractor specializing in petroleum installations.

Types of projects:

Upgrading to code, design, and construction of petroleum storage facilities for thermal power plants (generators).
Upgrading to code, design, and construction of fuel depots and fueling systems (mechanical and electrical work).
Automation of fuel depots (flow and level measurement, vehicle management, etc.).

Profile sought

College diploma (DEC) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance, or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
Knowledge of industrial mechanics and piping systems.
Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
ASP Construction certification (an asset).

Roles and responsabilities

Prepare project estimates.
Apply your analytical skills to interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.
Plan and oversee procurement required for project execution.
Monitor job sites and communicate project progress to your manager and clients.
Manage all financial aspects of your projects.
Effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and budgets.
Maintain clear and efficient communication with other departments and team members.
Participate in tracking and managing bid requests.

Commencement date : As soon as possible

Work schedule : Day schedule - 39 hours per week
