The Grise Fiord Project Wins the 2018 Award of Excellence

We are honoured to announce that the Grise Fiord project won the 2018 Award of Excellence in the “Industrial Projects” category at the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction (CISC) Gala. All of Groupe SM Tardif’s subsidiaries contributed to this major project, which was carried out and managed in a consortium with EBC. The project was nominated by BBA and EBC.

The project

The client’s project, for Qulliq Energy Corporation (QEC), consisted of replacing their aging diesel-fuelled electrical facility with a new and more efficient 900 kW power station allowing community distribution. To view the complete project, visit the achievements page.
