We are currently seeking a Director – Project Team, a strategic leader capable of ensuring the overall performance of our projects while actively contributing to the development of our team.

Reporting to the Director of Construction, you will hold a central role within the organization and act as a key contributor to governance, execution, and coordination between the project managers’ team and senior management.

Profile sought

  • You hold a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
  • You are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
  • You hold a Project Management Institute (PMI) certification (an asset).
  • You have 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in construction project management, including several years in a leadership role.
  • You demonstrate mobilizing and inclusive leadership, strong strategic thinking, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are confident in taking charge, managing situations effectively, and clearly communicating required actions.
  • You are results‑driven and prioritize achieving objectives, while demonstrating rigor and determination.
  • You show sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and well‑developed decision‑making abilities.

Roles and responsabilities

Project Portfolio Governance and Management

  • You will oversee the entire project portfolio, from contract award to close‑out, optimizing planning, resource allocation, risk management, and overall project performance.

Contract Management and Subcontracting

  • You will authorize and oversee strategic contractual agreements, ensure project compliance, and support project managers with legal matters, claims, and disputes.

Leadership and Team Management

  • You will lead, mobilize, and develop the project managers’ team to ensure the achievement of objectives related to health and safety, quality, costs, and schedules.

Performance Monitoring, Quality, and Continuous Improvement

  • You will analyze project performance, lead management reviews, deploy continuous improvement initiatives, ensure the application of the quality system, and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
