• You have between 3 and 5 years of experience in metal construction.
• You have knowledge of both erection and welding.
• You have excellent blueprint reading skills.
• You’re able to read and take metric measurements with a tape measure.
• You’re physically fit.
• You like your days to be full and work at a fast pace.
• You are resourceful, self-reliant, and meticulous.
• You have a strong sense of responsibility.
• You take initiative when needed.

Roles and responsabilities

Here’s what we can do for you on a daily basis:

Assembly tasks:

• You will be responsible for checking the quality and conformity of the parts used prior to assembly.
• You’ll handle parts using an overhead crane and/or jib crane.
• You will assemble and/or weld parts according to a drawing and the necessary instructions.
• Perform visual quality control of the product after assembly.
• Be responsible for welding preparation (chamfering, notching, drilling and any other related tasks).

Welding Tasks:

• You will weld metal parts using the appropriate equipment, MIG welding, semi-automatic (MCAW, FCAW).
• You’ll also ensure that weld bead dimensions are maintained.
• You will preheat parts when necessary.
• Plan welding sequences and install temporary supports to prevent distortion during welding.
