Business Analyst

For these reasons, it is looking to strengthen its team with the expertise of a business analyst who will play a key role in the Innovation Office created to give innovation the importance it deserves within Groupe SM Tardif. Several projects have already been identified and will be implemented, such as the implementation of a new ERP system, the digital management of construction sites and the review of its logistics process.

Profile sought

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Information and Systems Management) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience in process improvement and ERP implementation
  • Knowledge and experience working with ERP packages
  • Knowledge of the construction industry would be an advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French an asset

Roles and responsabilities

  • Act as a liaison between the organization’s business processes and information technologies.
  • Identify, analyze and understand business needs, diagnose, formulate recommendations and implement appropriate solutions to meet the organization’s requirements.
  • Participate in or take ownership of cost/benefit analysis, organizational impact analysis, and implementation of changes, as appropriate.
  • Document (map) and analyze the efficiency of business processes to identify opportunities to improve productivity and propose innovative solutions.
  • Analyze work methods and propose action plans to improve them.
  • Support the team of super-users in optimizing processes in their areas of activity.
  • Track issues, enhancement requests, updates, and developments with the ERP software service provider.
  • Design and deliver training related to their area
