SM Construction's Modular Department has been awarded a turnkey contract for the expansion of Des Moissons Elementary School in Repentigny. This project, which includes the manufacture, delivery, and installation on piles of 32 wooden modules, also includes the manufacture, delivery, and installation on piles of the following elements:
This project, which includes the manufacture, delivery, and installation on piles of 32 wooden modules, comprises:
- 8 classrooms, 1 multipurpose room, and 5 specialized rooms.
- Mechanical rooms and sanitary blocks.
- A fireproof corridor connecting to the existing building.
Our team also provided:
- Design of the foundation system.
- Structural engineering of the wooden modules.
- Production of workshop drawings.
In addition to the expansion, we designed a specialized layout for the schoolyard to better meet the needs of the children.
